Cronkshaw Fold Farm, Treating goats 21.6.16

Treating the kid’s footrot with Terramycin spray.

I marked the goats that I had treated with a red line so I could quickly distinguish them from the herd.

Although the adult goats are more difficult to handle and restrain, practice makes perfect :)!

The goat in the beige collar was lame due to footrot. This made the goat easily identifiable for treatment.

However, next week I will start a new treatment in this footrot project: zinc sulfate baths! Hopefully this will be an effective treatment for the goats.
