Cronkshaw Fold Farm, foot rot treatment again, 16.10.16

Dot and I moved the hurdles and put in a second bath to speed up the process of the hoof baths.

As the two goats in the individual pens weren’t in the zinc sulphate baths with the others, we checked their hooves to see if they needed trimming.

The larger of the two goats needed her hooves clipping so I held onto her horns and tried to keep her still whilst Dot clipped three. I did the final hoof which was difficult as the goat decided to put all her weight on me.

The two goats then went into the zinc sulphate for 15 minutes, then hard stand for 15 minutes.
