To begin the day, I mucked out stables and put up the hay nets.
I then walked down the road to do the field checks. (Making sure the ice had been smashed in the water buckets as it was freezing)!
I tacked up some horses as well as changing rugs before walking them in and out of the stables depending on the rota.
As a horse had a swollen spine, I put heat packs down the horse’s back.
I then watched a few training sessions.
As a horse was going home and a horse was going to a show, I helped to wash them.
Whitener was put on their legs and then covered in bandages to keep them clean.
This horse had mud fever which as a skin infection so Flamazine was put on her leg.
