Stud farm, 26.11.16

To begin the day, I mucked out stables and put up the hay nets.

I then walked down the road to do the field checks. (Making sure the ice had been smashed in the water buckets as it was freezing)!

I tacked up some horses as well as changing rugs before walking them in and out of the stables depending on the rota.

As a horse had a swollen spine, I put heat packs down the horse’s back.

I then watched a few training sessions.

As a horse was going home and a horse was going to a show, I helped to wash them.
Whitener was put on their legs and then covered in bandages to keep them clean.

This horse had mud fever which as a skin infection so Flamazine was put on her leg.
